BALTIMORE 2020

Home

Both surveys are now closed. The results will be posted on this site in the coming weeks.

The Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) is initiating a process to create a strategic plan for economic development that will outline key steps for enhancing the economic and business climate in Baltimore. This work will be done in partnership with the Department of Planning and the assistance of a consultant team.

www.baltimore2020.com is your portal to track progress on the process.

Periodic updates will posted over the next four months and a final report will be available in April 2014.

What can Baltimore do to create a bright future? What actions can we take to develop our economy? How can we provide more job opportunities? These are big questions. That’s where you come in.

www.baltimore2020.com is also your portal to be involved in the process.

Many of the answers to such questions can be found among Baltimore City residents – the people who live, work, play, raise kids, help neighbors, build businesses, hire employees, volunteer in Baltimore, and have ideas and want to be a part of positive change. Please fill out one of the surveys posted on this website – your participation in this process is highly valued.

Together, we can strengthen and grow our city, our home, our Baltimore.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Rawlings-Blake
Mayor
City of Baltimore
